The overall vibe of the place feels warm and homely. Coming to the food — it is simply amazing. Every dish is packed with great taste and authentic flavours. Desi Chef offers a wide variety of food options, and their different types of combo meals are a big plus. These combos are thoughtfully curated, filling, and offer great value for money. "Just visited Desi Chef, what an experience! If you’re craving authentic North Indian food, this place is a gem. I tried their Maharaja Thali and honestly, the portions are sufficient, the flavors are rich, and the freshly made breads are superb also, their mocktails – super refreshing and perfectly paired with the meal. And a Student Meal at just ₹99, and the best part? The menu changes every day so you never get bored! Honestly, for the quality, variety, and price – it’s 100% worth it."
"This is a place very near to most of our work places and we have lot many options to choose with With all that I thought to try here and the food was really good but again it comes to one point that this place has many better options with respect to price firstly and then the same quality of food so for me this restaurant will be once in a blue moon type of choice Again don't get me wrong the taste is real good but price I see not worth with the portion they serve Check out the image and you will understand that for one chole bhature we paid 200 rs & 120rs for one piece of paratha and see the portion in the image Again it's individual choice to go here For me I have many and many better options to choose Thank you anyways"
"The staff of this restaurant is so sweet and polite, also friendly, and trust me, no one asked me to review this, but I’m doing it by myself! I’m a big foodie. I love to try out new restaurants every week, 1-2 times. I have tried food in hundreds of restaurants, cafes, and 5-star hotels in Bangalore, and trust me, the taste of food nowhere comes close to this desi chef restaurant. They serve the best-tasting food in the whole of Bangalore. My favourites: 1. Pav Bhaji 2. Veg Ball Manchurian – must try, it literally melts in your mouth 🤤 3. Veg Momos (must try) – just ask for spicy sauce (it’s complimentary); they serve sweet chutney with it otherwise 😅 4. Naan is so soft and fluffy 5. Tried the Maharaja Thali as well – best thali in Bangalore. Enough for 2 people. Can’t expect more! Every time I go there, their staff welcomes us with a smile (not fake, just genuine) – loved it. I just wish more people would go there because it’s very underrated. Very few people even on Saturday and Sunday."
